Change your password

This section explains how you can change your password.

Starting this course, you have got an user name and a password. The first thing you have to do after login, is changing your password.

We advise you not to choose passwords such as:

• Names from you or your friends, date of birth
• Difficult to type
• Well known passwords like password, secret

After changing your password, you can start using this programme safe. Please remember that you don't give your password to anyone.

Changing your password

Click on the Profile button on the menu on the left for changing your password. After you have clicked on the Profile button you will see the profile page. Here you can choose between changing your password or modify and delete your templates.

Clicking on Change your password you will see a form with your 'Full name'.

You cannot change your full name here. If you want to change it you have to contact the administrator.

The other two fields you'll have to fill in:

• 'Password': Type your password. It has to be 10 characters or less.
• 'Password re type': Type here the same password as you typed above. This is to reduce the risk of typingerrors.

Exercise 1: Change your password

1. Click on Profile on the left menu.

Here you will see a full screen with two options:

• Change your password
• Administrate your templates

2. Click on Change your password

Here you will see:

• 'Password': Type your password. It has to be 10 caracters or less.
• 'Password re type': Type here the same password as you typed above. This is to reduce the risk of typingerrors.

5. Click on Modify user

The message "User Hans modified" will appear.
