Before you can log in you must have an username and a password. To obtain your username and password, contact your system administrator.
To log in into the archive click on the Login button located on the leftside of the screen in the menubar. A window will appear with two textfields. In the upper field you have to type your username and in the lower field you have to type your password. To confirm the log in process you must click on OK. Now you are logged in on the Webdriven 3D Image Database.
If the log in process failed, it depends on your browser what message will appear. If you use Netscape the following message appears: "Authorization failed. Retry?". This error can be caused by typing the wrong username or wrong password or both. Click on OK to retyp your username and password.
It is important to check whether you have typed them in the right way, because your username and password are case sensitive. This means that capital and normal characters are distinguished.
For this exercise the login name hans and the password Svi will be used. You will have to read them as if they are your own username and password.
