After you have clicked on the Admin Users button. You'll see the users already defined and their real name, in which group they belong and whether they have administrator rights for the group they belong to. Also you see the different options of the user management. These options are respectively:
We want to use the users Frank and Robbie with the following settings for the exercises:
Frank:
Robbie:
1. Click on the Admin Users button on the left menu.
You'll see the users already defined and their real name, in which group they belong and whether they have administrator rights for the group they belong to. Also you will see the three options. We will start with add a user.
2. Click on Add a User.
You will see empty fields such as:
3. Type the settings as described above and add Frank to the group SVI.
Please, don't forget to click on group-admin to make Frank the administrator of the SVI group and fill in the password twice. You have to do this to prevent typing errors.
4. When your finished click on Add User!.
A message appears that the user Frank has been added to the group SVI.
5. Click on the Admin Users button on the left menu.
The user Frank is visible in the results.
1. Click on the Admin Users button on the left menu.
2. Click on Add a User.
3. Type the settings as described above and add Robbie to the group SVI.
Here you don't have to click on the group-admin, because we don't want to make Robbie the group administrator. Please, don't forget to fill in the password twice. You have to do this to prevent typing errors.
4. When your finished click on Add User!
A message appears that the user Robbie has been added to the group SVI.
5. Click on the Admin Users button on the left menu.
The user Robbie is visible in the results.
1. Click on the Admin Users button on the left menu.
2. Click on modify behind Robbie to modify this user.
You will see a form with all the fields filled in. (see for information of the fields add a user). ***screenshot: page of modify a user***
3. In the settings page, change Robbie into an administrator by clicking on the Group-Admin.
4. When you are finished click on Modify User.
1. Click on the Admin Users button on the left menu.
2. Click on delete behind Robbie to delete this user.
A message appears that the user Robbie has been removed.
3. To delete Frank follow the same procedure
4. Click on the Admin Users button on the left menu.
The users Frank and Robbie do not exist anymore.
